We urge everyone to both read the Flash of Genius book and to see the movie.  I had the pleasure of knowing Robert Kearns for nearly twenty years.  Not only is his story compelling but every inventor today owes Bob Kearns for blazing a very difficult trail.  His fight broke the back of a three-four decade dark age where not one patent was upheld for individual inventors.
